Honest Review: Naspira Nasal Aspirator

I was given the chance to try out the NeilMed Naspira Nasal-Oral Aspirator. That’s a mouthful for a nosefull! I would really love to know who thought this one up? “Let’s take a tube and stick in a stuffed up nose and suck!”

I would like to thank them for taking that adventure into booger land. And figuring out how to make a really useful product. There are a few things every new mother needs and this is totally one of them. It’s the new suction bulb thingy. We all know babies can’t blow their noses. Heck my 4 year old still runs around the house with bungee buggers screaming “tissue!”

The Naspira helps solve the problems of baby colds. If you have ever had a baby with a cold you know the worst part is getting their nose cleaned out. I myself have resorted to the arm bar across the chest and pinning their heads down to make sure I don’t poke their brains method. This changed the game. It’s quick, it’s sanitary, and you can get a better clean in one try then most bulbs can in three! Plus did I mention it’s cleaner? Like by a lot. Every cut one of those bulbs in half? Don’t. Just trust me they’re nasty.

The Naspira is translucent so you can easily see how clean it is. It’s all so got 7 (that’s right 7) in-line disposable filters. So the irrational fear of sucking in boogers is gone. Speaking of clean it comes completely apart to sanitize it easily.

With a price point of $10-$15 this one is going in every new baby basket from here on! Find them at Target, Babies R Us, Bed Bath and Beyond and other retailers.
